Pamela Udoka

Pamela Udoka is a Clinical Psychologist, Relationship/Marital & Sex Therapist who provides thorough clinical examination and psychotherapy for mental well-being. She is the director of Family Wellness Therapy Centre, where she helps individuals and couples form and sustain mutually fulfilling and satisfying relationships. She also provides online and mobile services to lovercome perceived barriers to mental health care and the stigma that still exists around seeking help from mental health facilities.
She has a B.A. (Hons) Theatre Arts from the University of Ibadan, an MSc in Clinical Psychology from the University of Lagos, an M. Phil in Clinical Psychology from the University of Ibadan, and is a Doctoral Candidate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Ibadan.
Pamela Udoka has developed a professional specialization in the areas of relationship and marital conflict resolution, sexual disorders and dysfunctions assessment and treatment, and management of sexually related traumas. She authored the Marital Conflict Inventory (MCI), which is used to assess problematic marriages and assist psychotherapy.
Her general clinical practice focuses on many aspects of human personality and psychological illnesses, such as depression, general anxiety disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) resulting from emotional, psychological, domestic, and sexual abuse.
She’s breaking new ground in the field of men’s sexual health and sexuality concerns. She believes that a man who knows how to effectively navigate his sexual functions would decrease marital sexual unhappiness, which is one of the leading reasons of marital conflict.
She is a full member of the Nigerian Psychological Association (NPA) and Welfare and Ceremonials Officer of the Nigerian Association of Clinical Psychologists (NACP). PRO of Employee Assistance Professionals Association of Nigeria (EAPA-Nigeria). Member of the National Association of Nigerian Theatre Arts Practitioners (NANTAP), ASSITEJ Nigeria President, and ASSITEJ International Global Vice President.
She is a mother, a wife, and a frequent radio and television guest. She has traveled extensively both within and outside of Nigeria. She is a Public Speaker who speaks openly and confidently about sex and sexual issues in church and other public settings.
She has been happily married to Prof. Arnold Udoka for nearly 25 years, and they have been blessed with gorgeous children together.
