MFTs are trained in a variety of therapeutic techniques to work with people who are experiencing a wide range of issues. These issues include communication problems, conflict, stress, anxiety, and depression. They may also work with people who are facing challenges related to parenting, infertility, infidelity, separation, and divorce. MFTs often work in private practice. They may also be employed by hospitals, schools, community organizations, and other settings as therapists.
  5. Licensed professional counselors (LPCs): LPCs have a master’s degree in counseling and are trained to provide therapy and support to individuals, couples, and families.


Therapists may work in private practice, hospitals, schools, community centers, or other settings. They may use a variety of techniques to help individuals address their mental health concerns and improve their overall well-being.
